Lezél (Wandrag) Meintjes
Lezél Meintjes founded Wandrag Consulting in 2003 and Lataidian Accounting Services in 2008 in Gauteng, South Africa.
Over the past three decades, she has helped a diverse clientele (from nail technicians and mechanics to highly skilled professionals including doctors and engineers) with restructuring, implementing business strategies and navigating business growth.
The Group expanded its footprint by inaugurating a new branch in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, in 2022. This strategic move signifies not only the group’s commitment to growth but also its dedication to providing top-quality services in diverse geographical locations.

Company Established
Founded in 1984 by Jan Wandrag, our local heritage brand, Combined Services later Lataidian, has not only stood the test of time but has also seamlessly embraced modern accountancy practices, evolving in tandem with the dynamic business landscape. Jan Wandrag initially operated from an office in Fairlands, later co-owning a building in Bergbron Roodepoort.

Legacy
In 1994, the firm witnessed a pivotal moment when Jan Wandrag brought his daughter, Lezél (Wandrag) Meintjes, into the fold, thus establishing a family tradition within the organization. Tragically, Jan Wandrag’s life journey came to an end in 2020, leaving behind a legacy rich in history and achievements. Despite this profound loss, Lezél continues to honour her father’s legacy with unwavering dedication, embodying the values he instilled in the firm. Her efforts serve as a testament to her father’s enduring influence and the values he instilled within the firm.

In 2022, the firm welcomed the addition of Kylie Davidtz, daughter of Lezél, contributing to the ongoing family tradition within Lataidian. Over the course of 30 years, with its share of twists and turns, Lataidian has emerged as a robust entity, boasting an exceptional team encompassing bookkeepers, accountants, payroll specialists, chartered accountants, and auditors.
Expansion
Remaining under family ownership, Lataidian expanded its footprint by inaugurating a new branch in Mosselbay, Western Cape, in 2022. This strategic move signifies not only the firm’s commitment to growth but also its dedication to providing top-notch services in diverse geographical locations.

In 2023, we embarked on a meaningful partnership with Jannie Hesselink, a distinguished lawyer in private practice for more than 35 years. This step has significantly enriched our range of services. We’re thrilled to share that our offerings now include specialists in Trust Administration, Compliance, and Estate Planning.
